Gaming Rules

1. Terms:
   1. Game – an automated system programmed to hold, mix, and randomly select word question, answer, dictionary meaning, sentence example, synonym, and class of word for display.
   2. Odds – A numerical expression determined by the game provider, which is multiplied by the amount of the player‘s stake to calculate the winnings. For example; 1.1, 1.2 odds, etc…
   3. Bet Type – an accumulator comprising of 1 or more selections in one bet. For example; 1 to 1, 2 to 1 bet types etc…
   4. Entry Type – an accumulator comprising of 1 or more bets in one entry. For example; single and multiple entries
   5. Word Question – The word question selected by the system for display after every six (6) minutes countdown.
   6. Word Question Number – A numerical expression associated with a word question
   7. Word Question Answer – The randomly selected answer to a word question.
   8. Countdown Timer – A digital timer that signifies the start and end of the display of a word question.
   9. For the avoidance of doubt, once the system randomly selects the answer to a word question and displays it. Only players who selected the same answer displayed by the system are entitled to winnings.
   10. Where a player makes an answer entry that does not correspond with the answer randomly selected and displayed by the system. That player shall lose the bet.
2. Rules and Game play:
   1. What’s the Word?
      1. Once every six (6) minutes, the system randomly selects a word question and associated word question number and displays it.
      2. Players are expected to send in their answer entries before the end of the six (6) minutes countdown. Afterward, a new word question is displayed
      3. After the end of the six (6) minutes countdown, the system displays the answer to the word question, dictionary meaning, sentence example, synonym, and class of word.
      4. Players who selected the same answer randomly selected and displayed by the system shall win.
   2. Golden Number:
      1. Players can only bet on the outcome of a Word Question Number before it is displayed by our system
      2. Players are expected to predict the number of letters that will make up the word question to appear in a word question number and bet on it.
      3. This game consists of;
         1. Single Entry Type: Players can only bet on the outcome of a word question number.
         2. Multiple Entry Type: Players can bet on the outcome of multiple word question numbers as a betting entry.
      4. This game allows players bets on available bet types and associated fixed odds (for example; a “2 to 1” bet type means that the number of letters in the word question must be one of the 2 different numbers you have chosen, before a bet will be won).
   3. Letters of Fortune:
      1. Players can predict what letter or letters of the alphabet will appear in a word question and bet on it.
      2. Players can only bet on the outcome of any word question number before it is displayed by our system.
      3. This game consists of;
         1. Single Entry Type: Players can only bet on a single letter to appear in a word question.
         2. Multiple Entry Type: Players can bet on multiple letters to appear in a word question, or accumulate multiple word question numbers as a single bet entry.
      4. Letters are categorized into groups/bet types, and every group/bet type has an associated fixed odd.
   4. Ultimate Challenge:
      1. This is a Multiple Player English Vocabulary Challenge Game that allows players to create challenge rooms, invite contacts on facebook and twitter to join a challenge, share challenge activity on facebook and twitter, and lots more...
      2. A challenge can only accommodate a maximum of five players.
      3. Once a player joins a challenge room, the amount set by the creator of the challenge room will be deducted from the player’s wallet.
      4. Every challenge consists of not more than five rounds where the winner with the highest points at the end of a challenge wins the total amount (after deduction of Vokabul8™ commission of 15% from winnings).
3. Betting limits:
   1. Maximum and minimum betting limits are determined by Vokabul8™
4. Game Procedures:
   1. What’s the Word, Golden Number, and Letters of Fortune:
      1. Every six (6) minutes, the system randomly selects and displays a word question and its associated word question number.
      2. After the six (6) minutes countdown has elapsed, the system randomly selects and displays a new word question and the answer to the previous word question, including the dictionary meaning, sentence example, synonym, and class of word.
   2. Ultimate Challenge:
      1. A challenge consists of 5 rounds
      2. Every round, the system selects a word question and displays it for five (5) minutes. Every player in that challenge is expected to send in possible answer entries to the word question in display during this period.
      3. At the end of every round. The system displays all your answer entries with the correct entries highlighted and the leader board for that round for thirty (30) seconds.
      4. For every correct answer entry selected, a point is earned
      5. At the end of every challenge, the system displays the winner, total points earned, total amount won, and the amount staked.
5. Additional information:
   1. Our gaming rules may be published in several languages for information purposes and ease of access by players. However, It is only the English version that is the legal basis of the relationship between users and Vokabul8. In case of any discrepancy between a non-English version and the English version of our gaming rules, the English version shall prevail.
